Motivational Monday #120

satisfied Motivational Monday! it has been a stressful couple of days, however i'm happy to mention that i have stayed on course with my calorie counting and exercising for another week. Our washing device broke, as well as our wi-fi net router, so the previous day I had to exit and buy new ones. Spending a small fortune on things like washing machines and routers is so now not a laugh. As I kind this, i'm looking ahead to Lowe's to supply the brand new washing system. when you consider that they're turning in the new one, and taking the antique one, of path I felt the need to smooth the laundry room top to backside the day prior to this. i'm sort of dreading what the ground will look like when they pull the old washing machine out... 12 years of dust! Haha.

besides, like I wrote the day gone by, i'm doing simply well with the exercising, and i assume that is my "proud moment" of the week. I did a protracted walk, a protracted motorbike journey, and two new-to-me pieces of equipment at the rec center. here are a few awesome Motivational Monday memories to share this week... revel in!

Felicia just ran the Crim 10-Miler for the 1/3 year in a row, and set a brand new PR! In 2013, she made a aim to run the Crim every year that she is able. That year, she ran even as she turned into eleven weeks pregnant. the following yr, she become 5 weeks put up-partum. And this year, she started training approximately 5 weeks earlier than the race, and he or she completed in 1:55:05! The route is a difficult one (it is in Michigan, and i have been fearful of this race, haha--perhaps i will do it subsequent yr). This race changed into Felicia's main motivation to start losing weight in 2011-2012, and she or he dropped eighty pounds!

After taking a fitness hiatus closing iciness/spring, Katie made up her thoughts over Memorial Day to get lower back on target. She wrote up a education plan, picked out a few fall races to work in the direction of, and commenced schooling. while she hasn't visible plenty progress on the scale, she is starting to sense her fitness come lower back. This weekend, she ran a 10K--her first race of the season--and beat her "A" aim of a sub-12:00 mile pace! She completed in 1:11:forty three, a pace of 11:33. And, simply as thrilling, her daughter ran the 2.5K race--her first "grownup"/timed race! (Katie blogs at Katie is a Runner)

the day before today, Tiffany celebrated her birthday by using doing some thing absolutely new to her: stand up paddle boarding (SUP). She has a large worry of being on something risky (like a sailboat, canoe, skateboard, and so on.), so this became a challenge for her to conquer. Getting started out changed into specially difficult; but once she stood up on the board, she without a doubt loved herself! (She's the one sporting crimson in the image). She's running on getting again to her pre-toddler body, and this revel in was a big step in the right route. She stated it changed into super!

Carly is marathon training, and on Saturday, she become scheduled for her longest run to this point: 15 miles. She wakened to a textual content message from her strolling accomplice that she'd be not able to make it due to the fact she changed into unwell with a fever. in place of letting that derail her, Carly juggled some matters round and met up with some buddies on their 8-miler. whilst she became finished, she went directly to run every other 7 miles on her own, completing her 15-miler!

Marine is proud to say that she ran a hundred+ kilometers (sixty two.1 miles) in one month! She started out walking in April 2014, and ran her first race, la Parisienne, in September (you can study approximately that on Motivational Monday #78); and she'll be going for walks it again in  weeks. She decided to attain for a fair better aim as nicely--the Paris Centre 10K in October. She has run a cumulative 114K (70.eight miles) in the course of training for it! She introduced in her electronic mail, "I experience like i'm becoming a runner"... but i have to mention, and i don't suppose everyone will disagree, that you ALREADY ARE A RUNNER ;)

Congratulations everyone! Have a great week :)
