Bloat

except some type of a miracle takes place overnight, i will not be logging a weight reduction the next day for my weekly weigh-in. it is frustrating, because i've achieved the whole lot the same as constantly, however some thing occurred in the previous couple of days that has made me gain weight like crazy.

I weigh myself daily (now not constantly--approximately five-6 days a week), and i recognise that my weight fluctuates on a day to day basis. I wasn't involved when I noticed that my weight become up a pound some days in the past. Then tomorrow, it was up  extra. and then i used to be beginning to wonder, "What the heck?" due to the fact that hardly ever takes place where I log a huge advantage  days in a row while i'm following a food regimen.

i was careful with my sodium the previous day, and that i drank a lot of water, but I felt SO bloated and gross; and this morning, my weight became up another pound. it really is 4 pounds in three days!

i haven't gone over my Weight Watchers PointsPlus in any respect, and the simplest nutritional exchange I made this week turned into that I ate  CLIF Bars (on two separate days). i wonder if the CLIF Bars have something in them that reason me to bloat?

My belly become still very bloated this morning, however i have been downing water all day and averting sodium and some thing that might upset my belly. So i'm hoping that it is going away quickly. subsequent time I consume a CLIF Bar, i am going to pay attention to what it does to my stomach and weight, and see if that was the culprit. i'm hoping no longer, due to the fact I just bought thirteen of them!

Regardless, I recognise the load benefit is just brief, because i have not overeaten in any respect. So i am no longer involved approximately it; it's simply frustrating.

today I had 3 easy miles at a ten:24/mi tempo on my running time table. i have kind of left out the scheduled paces, and simply run anything I experience like. these days, I simply protected my Garmin with my sleeve and didn't observe it for the entire run.

the previous day, I made a totally quick playlist to apply for my three mile runs, to store my podcasts for my longer runs. i haven't listened to track while strolling in a long term, and it changed into form of clean these days. I think it made me cross faster than I idea i used to be, because i was taken aback when I saw my common pace after I finished:
(That calorie burn is too high--I forgot to wear my heart rate
monitor, so I probably burned more like 280 calories)

i used to be quite satisfied with that! i am getting increasingly more confident about strolling a sub-26 5K race in the near future.

it is kind of funny, because I just recently decided that i was glad with my tempo, and did not in reality care if I ever hit my time goals. however given that i am getting faster is motivating me to work harder on it, and i've certainly virtually enjoyed going for walks quicker.

when I finished my run, I made an English muffin for breakfast and topped it with Justin's Maple Almond Butter and Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter. It was so accurate!
English truffles with nut butter are continually my cross-to breakfast or lunch while my belly is disenchanted. For lunch, I had a Butterfinger Protein Shake, after which dinner turned into scrambled eggs and toast with butter and jam. I ran out of grapes the day before today, and instead of going to the shop these days for greater, I determined to eat an apple. once I cut into it and took a chew, it was mealy--gross! So i'll be going to the shop in the morning for more grapes.

My stomach is feeling plenty higher this night, and much less bloated, so with a bit of luck day after today's weigh in won't be too bad.

I spent the afternoon crocheting the maximum lovable little cellular phone holder that I saw on Pinterest. right here is the pattern. I completed crocheting, but I want to buy a toggle button for the beak and acrylic crystals for the eyes.
It was pretty tedious, but I think it's cute!
