Wearable in public

i used to be absolutely a touch disappointed that today was a rest day--I wanted to head run this morning. I know, what the heck is wrong with me?!

The climate has simply been so high-quality for running these days that I want to take complete advantage of it. but I ran the closing 4 days in a row, so I took these days off. This morning turned into my weekly weigh-in. i am going to start just doing my weight on a weekly foundation, and store my body fats and waist size for as soon as a month (for the reason that alternate is so minimal on the ones).

ultra-modern weigh in?
Sorry for the bad pic! I need to stop using my phone for scale pics
these days i used to be a hundred thirty five, so I misplaced half of a pound this week. doesn't sound like a whole lot, but being this close to my intention weight, half a pound is good! i am now just two kilos from intention, so I ought to get there any day now :)

I went thru my closet and attempted on a bunch of stuff that i have not worn in some time--namely my dresses. i used to be amazed (and extremely joyful) to locate that they match really properly now, and my Dr. ouncesdress (the blue one I wore at the display) is in reality pretty large! I had to wear Spanx to squeeze into that get dressed on the display. The dress I wore in Sarah's wedding ceremony is now quite unfastened as nicely, and i could barely zip it (regardless of Spanx) on the day of her wedding ceremony a little over a year ago.

i was able to pass all of my denims into the "wearable in public" pile, and even take away some that had been too huge. This time, I ought to preserve THEM THERE, and have a totally solid plan for preservation. i am going to try and observe in Stephanie's footsteps, and retain to rely PointsPlus that allows you to live at goal. i will get to add some greater PP as soon as I hit aim, but i can still be counting.

I made a honestly short and excellent soup for lunch nowadays. i've been craving cream of mushroom soup, but once I make it selfmade, it's only exact with quite a few cream in it. and that is about one million PP. So I simply chopped up eight ounces. of mushrooms, and six oz.. of leftover turkey and brought it to a pot along side a can of cream of mushroom soup and a can of milk. That made two very filling servings, at 6 PP each. i used to be full for hours afterward, and the soup turned into SO proper!
On Jerry's manner to work these days, the minivan broke down. that is sooo not exact. it's top notch vintage, and we truly didn't count on it to remaining forever, but this is a horrible time to should worry approximately the automobile (simply before Christmas, and our experience to Florida...). Jerry had to name off paintings for the very first time in TEN YEARS. He controlled to get the van returned domestic, but there's some thing truely wrong with it. My dad is an car mechanic, so he is going to examine it, however it is probably no longer worth fixing.

Jerry could had been getting a bonus at paintings for ideal attendance (they try this as soon as a year in December), but nowadays ruined that :(  as soon as he were given the car home, he ended up going in to paintings with the Jeep, but he turned into an hour past due--so the bonus is void.

we are able to technically get by way of with simply the Jeep, but then i'd be stuck at domestic for his entire 12-hour shifts. i'd cross loopy! multiple years in the past, we had to pass a whole summer time and part of the fall with simply one automobile. the lads and i needed to get very innovative with activities. And we known as a bus to choose us up at home sometimes--the lads notion that was so fun! I did now not ;)

but anyway, i'm just hoping that the van can be fixed. I don't know how quickly my dad can study it (we're constantly at the lowest of his precedence list, on account that his "paying" clients come first, haha).

tomorrow morning, i'm going to run and then visit my 2d Weight Watchers meeting. i am still frightened to move, but now not almost as anxious as closing time!
