Sweaty Bands Review & Giveaway

i've visible those cute headbands referred to as Sweaty Bands at race expos, and that i usually looking longingly at them, but i've by no means offered one. My head is large, and i've never discovered a scarf that would stay placed various seconds. So at the same time as the headbands had been cute, I just knew they had never work on my head.

The agency lately contacted me to peer if i would like to offer them a attempt. I wrote them returned, saying that i would be happy to try them, but i've by no means been able to hold a scarf on my head; and because i am always honest with my readers, I wasn't going to mention I loved them if I did not.

They wrote returned and stated that they looked forward to the mission ;)  That gave me desire that perhaps these headbands were different, and they would live on... the employer was very confident that I would like them.

they've such a lot of patterns and colors to pick out from, but I failed to pick out what they despatched. the ones they chose for me, but, were actually lovely! There were  distinctive widths.
This is the "narrow" width
This is the "wide" width
The bands have a backing that feels type of fuzzy, like velvet, that is what makes them stay in place (and soak up sweat). After putting it on, I moved my head to and fro and up and down, and it became nonetheless desirable. but that doesn't attest to tons, so I decided to peer how long I ought to keep it in location while cleaning my residence--the final mission.

I cleaned all day lengthy (this become just before Rik got here to metropolis) and that i kept accomplishing up to feel it and notice if it become slipping, however i was very inspired at how properly it stayed in region. It sooner or later did slip lower back too a long way, and i needed to readjust--but to be truthful, i have a big head and it stayed on a whole lot longer than another scarf i've attempted.

they are a little expensive, in my view--$15 for a narrow, $18 for a wide band... but they appear to be superb exceptional. It doesn't feel like it is cheaply made at all. it might be a adorable gift for a runner (or all and sundry who sporting activities). they have so many to pick out from--I don't know how i would be able to choose just one. additionally they let you make custom designs, which of course made me think I have to do a Runs for Cookies one. ;)

Sweaty Bands generously sent me a 3rd band to give away to a Runs for Cookies reader! right here is what it seems like:
That one is a wide band. So in case you assume you need to provide it a attempt, you can enter a random drawing via leaving a comment on this submit--do you've got troubles getting headbands to stay to your head, or are you one of the fortunate people who can wear all kind of lovely headbands?
