Hoodie season

I do not know what came over me this morning--i was having a dream (that I rescued a cat that someone hung from a tree--bizarre!), and that i wakened at five:20. with out even thinking about some thing, I just jumped out of bed, threw on my jogging clothes, and made the choice to get my run accomplished earlier than waking the kids up for school.

actually 5 minutes later, i used to be on the treadmill. i used to be scheduled for five miles today, and i did a pace run. I ran one mile at 6.zero, then bumped it up to six.5 and ran 3 miles, then went backpedal to six.zero for the remaining mile. I watched Nip/Tuck again, and i was executed walking earlier than I even fully awakened!

I told my mother the previous day that i would move garage sale-ing along with her this morning, so I had been making plans to simply run once I were given domestic; however getting it out of the manner ahead became a lot higher. I showered, after which wakened the children and got them geared up for faculty. I made a quick chocolate raspberry protein shake for breakfast, after which my mother picked me up.

If i'm jogging, say, sixteen miles that day, and probably would not get domestic and showered till lunchtime, i'll eat a small breakfast (toast with peanut butter, or 1/2 a serving of oatmeal with a little peanut butter) earlier than I run. And when i am jogging greater than 12 miles, i have Gatorade and/or Gu all through my run.

some people say it is higher to eat earlier than you run, a few say it is nice to attend till after... however like I always say, one factor I found out while losing weight became to screw what all and sundry else says and do what works for ME ;) What works for me may be the alternative of what works for others, and vice versa.

in conjunction with my mom and me were two of my mother's friends, and we picked up my aunt even as we have been out. there was a metropolis-huge sale, but lamentably, now not a few of the income started out today. I only sold a couple of factors--I were given a skateboard for Eli (he simply asked me the day past if he ought to get one, and i discovered one nowadays for $five); a couple of hoodies for me (that's what occurs when i'm psyched for fall!); and the film Gremlins for the boys.

i was a touch dissatisfied now not to find some thing virtually interesting nowadays, but Jerry stated he desires to move the following day, so maybe i'll discover some thing then. most of the sales start on Saturdays. i've overlooked storage sales! I don't think I went at all this summer.


Sunday might be precisely six weeks till my marathon. i am thinking about doing some form of project for myself. I sincerely favored doing my Wii active 30-Day project, and it gave me something to actually work toward. One idea i've is to burn an extra 100 calories each day--some thing above and beyond what i would generally do. a hundred calories wouldn't require too much more effort, and it'd be amusing to consider innovative methods to do it. i used to be additionally questioning perhaps it must be a few sort of food task, given that I genuinely can not appear to drop these 10 kilos I picked up. i'll consider it a few greater nowadays and the next day, and then start the mission on Sunday!
