A lion cut

thank you for the anniversary needs the day before today! even as our anniversary wasn't precisely thrilling, it changed into virtually interesting.

i used to be bummed that I had scheduled my medical doctor's appointment at 3:00 the day before today, so i stopped up moving into at 10:00 just for my lab paintings (usual annual bodily stuff), and i rescheduled my appointment for next week. once we went shopping, we went out to lunch to have a good time our anniversary--sure, inspite of the kids. The kids were begging to go to Amigos, our favourite Mexican eating place. As soon as our meals got to the desk, each of the lads said they had to go poop so Jerry needed to take them to the bathroom. It took all the time, and that i ended up eating lunch alone on our anniversary bahaha!

while we got here home, the youngsters went outdoor to play, and Jerry and that i did the maximum random component each on our anniversary--we shaved Paolo (our Himalayan cat). i used to be so ill of his hairballs and locating his hair anywhere, that I decided we have to simply shave him. We known as a groomer, and he or she said she "desires time to get to understand the cats, so she's no longer taking on any new customers"... VERY strange. however Paolo truly LOVES getting brushed, so I figured it wouldn't be hard to do it myself with the clippers.

unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures while we had been doing it, but I took a number of him in a while. just like I notion, he loved getting his hair cut. He was rubbing all over me, and lying perfectly nonetheless in my lap, and simply taking part in it all around. I didn't say it changed into a "quite" hair cut. believe it or no longer, that became with a #2 blade protect--I thought he could look nearly bald, but his hair became SO thick it become tough to shave. His fur is very, very smooth now--it became tender before, however now it is an entire new degree of soft.

After that, the kids went to my parents' house and Jerry and i ended up going through tons of old pix, choosing which of them to put on the previous day's blog publish. We had more than one beers and chatted about our years together. Then we went to Staples, because I wished a few things for a assignment i am running on (for my mother's birthday, so I can't monitor it but!)

today is Friday, which generally means it's my long run day. I even asked Renee if she could watch my boys this morning while I ran 16 miles, and the whole lot became all properly to move. however the day past, I simply knew i was going to have a hard time with it these days--because of the crappy Mexican meals I had for lunch, due to the beer I drank, and did I mention we ate ice cream for dinner? Yeah, I failed to think i would have a very good run nowadays.

So I postponed my 16-miler until Sunday. tomorrow, i'm going to Jerry's baseball tournament all day, and he's off Sunday, so it'll training session. i have been eating surely well today, and could do the equal day after today, to be very organized come Sunday morning.

for the reason that my final run was on Wednesday, I did not want to move that long among runs, so I decided to run a brief 3-miler today. rather than the treadmill, I took the youngsters to the rec middle in which they could play basketball at the same time as I ran on the indoor song. i have not completed the indoor song in some time.

I realize that my foot pod calibration changed into manner off, due to the fact i was strolling hard and it was giving me a 10:00/mi tempo. I even made a recreation out of making it stay underneath a ten:00/mi pace, but i wasstruggling. But, we'll never know.

Three miles FLIES by when you're used to doing 6+ miles at a time. I can't remember my last run that was less than 5 miles! Before marathon training for sure.
