Impulsive painting

not positive where it came from, however I wakened with pretty a chunk of energy this morning. I felt like cleansing or organizing or some thing... that by no means occurs!

I opened the cabinet below our sink in which our cleaning resources are, and that i noticed four cans of crimson spray paint that have been there for a couple of years. i purchased them when I painted our shutters, and those were left over cans. once I saw those, I very rapidly determined that i was going to paint something with them.

My first sufferer (yes, first--that means there were greater) changed into the coffee table. Our espresso table was an unpleasant grayish brown colour, very boring. I told Jerry i was going to paint it, and he clearly didn't like the concept. but he carried it out of doors for me, and even snapped multiple snap shots at the same time as i used to be painting...
you could see on the bottom left of the desk what the colour used to be; I suppose the red seems a whole lot better, don't you?!

once I saw how suitable the desk looked, and that i still had  cans of paint left. I instructed Jerry to take the the front door off the hinges, due to the fact i was going to color it crimson. His eyes bugged out of his head, and he tried to speak me out of it.

I informed him that we already appear like hillbillies with all the crap in our yard (permit's simply say you could completely inform that we've got kids), and having a sprig painted door would just in shape proper in ;)

As quickly as I began spraying the door, I knew it become a mistake. The paint wasn't sticking to it love it did at the table, and it looked red as opposed to crimson. Jerry became making fun of me, but I completed out the two cans of spray and the door seemed terrible. I informed him to get a few paint from Lowe's, and he came home with a can of paint and a broom.

He painted the door with that, and it appears wonderful. it's the same coloration purple because the desk (it was white earlier than). It seemed so suitable (and we still had paint left) so we painted the facet door as nicely. truly my first-class concept ever ;)

Jerry changed into cutting the grass this afternoon, and he simply ran over a turtle! It was so small that he failed to see it till after he ran it over. fortunately, it wasn't hurt at all. It was SO lovely that I wanted to hold it (but of direction we didn't).
I believe this is a snapping turtle

Estelle was VERY curious about this little creature!

After dinner, Jerry and that i determined to take the youngsters to the rec middle so we ought to all go swimming. i have referred to earlier than how I hate swimming, but i've been seeking to be extra lively on a every day basis, so I introduced my suit and were given in as nicely. I even jumped off the diving board--i'm sure I seemed as sleek as a swan, too. Bahahaha!

I went to the shallowest part of the pool (three.five toes deep) and started out jogging in circles. strolling inside the water is hard! My legs were given a truely precise exercise. I don't know what possessed me to try and swim laps, however i used to be bored enough to give it a strive.

i was stunned at how hard of a exercise it was! My coronary heart become racing quicker than it does once I RUN, and i used to be absolutely out of breath. I stored going, pausing for some seconds after every lap to seize my breath. i stopped up swimming 20 lengths of the pool! I assume this is 500 meters, which is a whole lot farther than I concept I ought to cross.

And earlier than someone mentions it, NO, there are no triathlons in my destiny. ;)
