Weekly goals summary

trust it or not, I sincerely made it through an entire week of counting energy! it's been a completely long time on the grounds that i have accomplished that, but I understand it was vital to get back on course and lose these greater 10 kilos i've been placing directly to all summer season. alas, I did not lose a unmarried pound this week, that is absolutely disheartening. when I noticed the dimensions, I right away desired to go purchase a doughnut... but then I requested myself, "Will a doughnut surely make me experience better for not dropping weight?" and that i knew the solution become no.

My three weekly dreams have been:
food--Log all of my energy on SparkPeople
health--Do the Wii energetic twice, at the side of my scheduled runs
Misc--complete the sewing assignment for my sister

I did it--I finished all 3 dreams! Having weekly desires rather than month-to-month or every year virtually helped me to stay targeted. And pronouncing them at the blog helped enormously, due to the fact i might were too embarrassed to admit if I stop on the primary week ;)

And finally, the project I had to make for my sister...

She wanted ( pairs of) chaps that have been smooth-on, clean-off, and one-size-suits-most. this is what I came up with--they could in shape over any jeans and are adjustable with velcro, so they're clean to put on and take off. notice, these are glaringly no longer "real" chaps--only for photo opps. I don't ask, I just do what i'm instructed ;)

I had a absolutely tough time arising with desires for this week, seeing that i'm going to be in Minnesota for 3 days. but i can strive my fine to complete those desires:

meals--now not to head too loopy in MN. I could be ingesting out, i am certain, and i can make wholesome alternatives. i can no longer consume ice cream 3 instances a day like I did in Illinois!
fitness--To definitely strive for my sub-2:00 half of-marathon purpose. it is completely ok if I don't make it, however I want to as a minimum say I attempted.
Misc.--To easy out my bedroom closet (last time, I got too wrapped up in all of the stuff i found that I didn't really clean anything).


i am getting a little worried approximately getting to Minnesota on Friday. Renee and i are the use of friend passes from my brother, which means we must fly stand-by using. The flights appearance "okay, but now not excellent"--which means there are some empty seats, however not a whole lot. The plan is to attempt to take a flight early Friday morning, and with any luck we're going to get on. however if it's complete, we're going to should have a look at other options--either a later flight or a layover (in all likelihood in Chicago).

i've flown with buddy passes masses of times, and by no means had a trouble getting on a flight, but I consider that in view that it is a vacation weekend, the flights are fuller than regular. Brian stated one manner or some other, we have to be able to get there, but I hate that there is no "guarantee". I knew that after I registered for the race although, so I truely can not bitch. simply hoping that we have no problem on Friday morning!
